Amy Dunn

Joseph Hollebon is a conceptually driven designer, who draws upon a myriad of inspirations from the domains of art and architecture.

The New Zealand born designer studied fashion design in Dunedin, where he graduated in 2015. Foregoing the ornate, he cuts through the noise, believing that design grows stronger as the inessentials are trimmed away.

His latest collection found inspiration through the Japanese perspective wabi-sabi; it is the embodiment of a desire to create garments less confined by perfection. The collection accepts that it is just a stage within a much larger process, trusting that everything is in its right place...for now. Accepting the imperfect and incomplete, every garment embodies a part of a natural cycle of growth undertaken by the designer.
